Alberta Food Tours (AFT) has two options for people looking to explore Alberta's food scene. 1 - You can enjoy their Eat the Castle guided tour at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff. That includes 4 luxurious tastings and stories of the art, architecture, and history that will make you a Banff insider. OR 2 - You can play their Alberta Food Finder game/app. The game is part self-guided tour, part living board game, and part amazing race! Guests have to work through clues to solve a quest and become local food heroes. The Alberta Food Finder is currently set in Calgary's Kensington neighbourhood. All you need is a GPS data-enabled mobile device to play once you've paid for a game code on AFT's website. Founded in 2006, Alberta Food Tours operates in Calgary, Canmore, Banff, and Edmonton. Along with a public tour schedule, they offer a "hire a guide" service for small groups incorporating physical distancing and will also plan custom tours for larger groups.
